JAM’s Children and Youth Empowerment Program holistically address the barriers to education for orphans, vulnerable children, and targeted youth by providing financial support, scholarships, and material assistance to counteract economic hardships that prevent school attendance. It seeks to leverage digital education opportunities while tackling the digital divide in rural areas, and invests in school infrastructure and climate resilience to mitigate environmental disruptions. The program adapts to national policy shifts like Competency-Based Education and engages with county governments for localized support. Furthermore, it combats deep-rooted challenges like child labour, early marriage, and HIV/AIDS impact by expanding bursaries, and providing life skills education to improve retention and learning outcomes.
